HuyIDE 1.71.6
HuyIDE 1.71.6 introduces the remote agent host with Ed25519 pairing and approvals, accelerates diff stats and memory scoring through the Rust core across desktop and browser, and ships update-button and rendering reliability fixes.
Remote Agent Host
Run and approve agent sessions on a paired remote host directly from the IDE, with account-scoped presence, entitlement gating, and fail-closed routing so remote actions never bypass local policy.
- Ed25519 host pairing with agent lock and account-scoped presence authorization.
- Agent host rail with live transcript, approval prompts, and a remote computer switcher in the title bar.
- Lossless agent transport and companion branding for remote-control sessions.
Rust Core Acceleration
Diff statistics, memory scoring, token counting, and secret scanning now run through the native Rust core on desktop and a verified JS/WASM path in the browser, with aligned fallbacks so behavior stays consistent across platforms.
- Offloaded diff stats and memory scoring to the Rust accelerator for large files and repositories.
- Unified token estimation and secret-scan metadata between native, browser, and fallback paths.
- Fixed a hash-collision edge case in browser diff stats and removed an ineffective native cosine path.
Fixes & Polish
A round of reliability fixes across chat rendering, MCP tool schemas, spec workflow explorer refresh, artifact preview, and the in-app updater.
- Title-bar update button with status-bar label and smarter update checks.
- Preserved MCP tool schema constraints and hardened choices/artifact renderers.
- Refresh spec explorer on project changes and fix artifact preview diff display.
